A new club in Helsinki called Adams will open its doors this week. There's a pre-party with Efdemin on Thurdsay and the official opening will be held on Friday. On Saturday, Tuomas Toivonen does his Glass House live set and Martti from Renaissance Man will be playing records with me. In 2006, a year after Gods of Eden, Jaxxon was living in the Netherlands, so I hosted a summer club with Fiskars on the mbar terrace. The party was called Ease Out and we recorded this mix to promote those Sunday evenings once a month – timeless stuff, I dare to say.

Gods of Eden, five years ago

Sometime around 2004 me and Marvin Jaxxon (nowadays better known as Jaxxon from Renaissance Man), who I was dj'ing quite a lot at the time with were getting more and more into all things balearic. We decided to get something done about the lack of such parties in Helsinki, and during the summer of 2005 a monthly Sunday club called Gods of Eden took place on the mbar terrace.

Here's a 74-minute live recording from the last Gods of Eden that happened almost exactly five years ago. I remember it was raining and we had to play inside the bar instead of the terrace, but the good thing about it was that we got night on tape.
